Spring Cleaning: Your Makeup Collection

For the past few weeks, I have been determined to go room by room to clear out all of the clutter in my home. There's something about this time of year, the time for spring cleaning that motivates me to get things in order. How many of us take the time to freshen up our makeup collection? Do you know the shell life of the products you use?

• Concealer - 12 months
• Powder - 2 years
• Pencil Eyeliner - 3 years (when sharpened regularly)
• Eyeshadow - 3 years
• Foundation - 12 months (water based) and 18 months (oil based)
• Lip Liner - 3 years
• Lipstick - 2 years
• Mascara - 4 months
